Original woodwork and Victorian decor with some unique modern touches! Located in a friendly neighborhood close to The Strand (riverfront district) as well as trendy Uptown. Easy access to the rest of the Hudson Valley via Thruway (87), 32, and 9W.
Our house has lots to offer you! The master bedroom boasts a king bed with ample room for a crib, playpen, cot, or air mattress if you wish to sleep more. There is a private balcony off the master with views of the Hudson River in the winter, and the spectacular sunrise every morning. There is also an ensuite gym with treadmill, elliptical, power tower, and free weight set. The second bedroom has a walk-in closet and 2 twin beds that can easily be pushed together to make a king if you choose. The third bedroom has a double bed, walk-in closet, and another private balcony - this one west-facing for a view of the sunset! Again, there is more than enough space in this room for a crib, playpen, cot, etc.
The second floor bathroom is original to the house with all fully-functioning original fixtures, including a claw foot bathtub. The first floor master bathroom is a later addition to the house, but just as interesting! With a bidet, 2-person jacuzzi tub, and stall shower, you will be able to take your pick of relaxing soak spots!
Our house is one of the original homes on Kingston's most historic street. In fact, the parcel of land that our house is built on was purchased directly from the family of Jervis McEntee, one of the pre-eminent artists of the Hudson River School.+ More
