My cabin is located in the Poker Bar community right off of Hwy 299 between Lewiston and Douglas City and is very comfortable for travelers, fishermen and guests. It is located one block away from the infamous Poker Bar fishing hole and has kayak and boat access on the property. The cabin has beautiful views, lots of privacy, a telephone with free long distance/local service, high quality and very comfortable furniture, DVD/blueray player with a host of videos, flat screen with DISH TV, Internet/Wi-Fi, front patio furnished deck with propane BBQ and umbrella, rear deck w/fire pit and chairs. This cabin has a full kitchen with lots of amenities, a full sized washer & dryer, a high chair for toddlers, yoga mat and block, a mini split air conditioning/heating system, inner tubes, small kid's pool, and 2 bicycles available to use in the spring/summer. It's a perfect place to get away, "unplug" from the daily grind and enjoy serenity, great for fishermen/women wanting to enjoy what the river has to offer in terms of fly fishing, boat fishing, kayaking, rafting, hiking, biking and enjoying the sites in the area.
The cabin can can comfortably sleep about 5 or 6 people (2 adults in the master queen bed (soon to change to king), 1-2 adults each on a double and a twin in the second bedroom and, as needed, 2 adults/child on a comfortable queen blowup mattress, and/or 1 adult/child on a full size comfy couch, 1 child on the loveseat.
The cabin is 8 miles east of Weaverville and 28 miles west of Redding. The area has a host of great restaurants, bars, annual craft fairs, special holiday events, really nice farmers' markets in Weaverville on Wednesdays and in Hayfork on Fridays (May through mid-October), a great sports/pizza restaurant and bar (Tangle Blues Saloon in Weaverville), the Art Walk the first weekends of the month and the wonderful Trinity Performing Arts center live music, comedy and performances and events during the month. Come on down to Poker Bar and enjoy your time in Trinity County!+ More
