After the day is over, relax in a cozy living room with seating for 10 and a no-hassle propane fireplace. The smart TV and netfilx gives you access to a vast library of TV/Movie titles. There is an outdoor fire pit for those hardy enough to gather around the camp fire year-round.
ABOUT THE COTTAGE:
Spacious 4 bedroom cottage nestled on a quiet shore on Balsam Lake.
The property boasts over 75' of pristine shore line. The water is 3' deep at the edge and the bottom is weed free, hard-packed sand. A 20' dock extends out into the lake and can accommodate boats and other water toys during your stay. Feel free to use our water toys in the including masks, snorkel, flippers, pool noodles and canoe.
The property is 300' deep and boasts a large grassy area for the kids to play. A tree house in the shade near the waters edge entertains the kids while allowing mom and dad to lounge by the water.
The kitchen is fully equipped with plates, cutlery, pots and pans and most of the conveniences of home. Bed linens and towels are provided for your convenience.
If the weather gets too hot, two air conditioning units on the main floor can keep the house at a comfortable temperature. A top of the line filtration system ( 2 stage particulate and UV treatment) provides fresh, safe drinking water to the cottage.
Area amenities and activities are too numerous to mention. A guidebook in the cottage details various adventure to be found in the local area.

For snowmobile enthusiast, our cottage offers area suitable for parking your trucks/trailers and sleds. The cottage is located on balsam lake and offers access - via the lake- to a network of OFSC trails (see image showing cottage and trails). You can experience endless snowmobile riding on this extensive trail system.
The Victoria Rail Trails corridor is a multi-purpose, 85km, recreational trail that is a short 10 minute drive from the cottage. This trail provides great scenery and is well suited to cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking or snowmobiling.
When lake freezes, skaters in the group will love the experience of skating on the lake.
