A brand-new, private basement apartment in the heart of Albert Arts District, walking distance to all the fun restaurants and shops on both Alberta St. and Killingsworth St. This spacious, private oasis includes one bedroom with a queen-size bed, living room with a sofa bed as well as a full kitchen and bathroom. All of which are brand new. Be one of the first to stay at this beautiful apartment in a great area.
This apartment is located in the basement of a brand new house. With plenty of windows and a private, entry door, it does not feel like a basement, nor do you have to see us at any time if you do not want to. The brand new space has been outfitted with a combination of brand new furniture (couch, bed, TV) as well as Portland-made trinkets and art we've picked up around town.
There is a full-size kitchen (stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher and full size refrigerator) that is equipped with all the essentials including a coffee maker. There is also a separate washer and dryer.
The living room has a sofa bed and entertainment center with a TV that has access to Netflix and an Hulu so you can watch all your favorite shows and movies.
The bedroom features a brand new queen-size bed and mattress. And finally, the bathroom includes a full shower/tub - convenient for those traveling with kids.
The entire apartment includes free wifi.
Other things to note
While we have made every effort to reduce noise from the main house, we do live above the apartment space. Our house is brand new, but despite our best efforts to eliminate noise in the apartment, you will still hear us at times.
To help, we have a Dohm white noise machine in the main room.
We also have a hypoallergenic, friendly dog, named Kingston. He is never allowed in the apartment space but he does live with us upstairs. Please keep this in mind as you may hear him from time to time.
Interaction with guests
As new Portlanders with two kids, we've been having a lot of fun getting to know the city and seeing the sites. We would be happy to help you plan your trip or give you recommendations while you're here, just let us know. Otherwise, we understand that many people just want their space, and we will let you explore on your own.+ More
