Original art and design abound. This quiet retreat, located on 5 acres, is 2 kilometers from the hamlet of Roberts Creek on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia. The loft is open, bright and very original. Everywhere you look there is creativity. References of modern, country, industrial and nature blend throughout the space. Large windows look out to nature, while internal windows offer private views overlooking the art studio of this is it. design. This is a space you will love to relax in.
The basic fare includes: A comfortable queen sized bed, cozy living room with large windows, an awesome bathroom with heated slate floors, plus a kitchenette equipped with kettle, french press, toaster, fridge and essential dishes and utensils are all buttoned up in a stunning 550 square foot accommodation. Add to that a bright 300 square foot covered deck all for yourself which overlooks a rural forest setting, organic gardens, fruit trees and the occasional wandering chicken.
Explore the five acre property and discover more creativity. Perhaps you will settle into a nice grove of trees to read a book, journey down to the seaside hamlet of Roberts Creek to encounter the friendly locals at the Gumboot Cafe, or walk the beaches and forests. This is a place for rejuvenation, re-connection and fun.

Interaction with guests
Your friendly hosts Robert and Beth and their two children live on the property nearby. They will be available periodically throughout your stay. We look forward to assist you in person or by text. We would ensure there is minimal noise from 10 am to 8 pm. Otherwise there may be light noise from Robert creating in the studio down below.
Getting here is easy and simple. A stunningly beautiful 40 minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver brings you to the west side of Howe Sound at the Langdale Ferry Terminal. After a 20 minute drive along the forested Highway 101, turn RIGHT at the only traffic light in Roberts Creek. Just 1 kilometer further, past horses and barns, you turn LEFT at the large target. This is it, you have arrived!
Once you've settled in, relax or explore the property or beyond. For the nature lover, kilometers of walking trails are just footsteps away. Beautiful forests with mountain streams and waterfalls await your discovery. If you like more tame wandering, the 'Creek' is a great place to start. Just 2 kilometers down the way you will find the magic of our beautiful community. There you will discover the famous Gumboot Cafe and Restaurant -offering delicious food including vegetarian & vegan options. The Roberts Creek Pier and Mandela, the quaint Roberts Creek General Store, Yoga By the Sea, Ambrosia health food Store, the Post Office Legion and more are all a short stroll away within the village. The seaside townships of Gibsons and Sechelt are a quick 12 minute drive in either direction on the highway. A few other places you may consider visiting are Cliff Gilker Park, The Day Road twin waterfalls, Roberts Creek Beach, Henderson Road Beach, the Chapman Creek swimming hole and waterfall or kayaking around Sechelt Inlet. Your Hosts Robert and Beth will bring you up to speed on where to go and whats going on. Likewise, people are friendly here, so don't hesitate to ask a local for directions, things to do or special places to visit, there is always something going on.
Parking for two cars are available on site. We are centrally located between Gibsons and Sechelt - both just a twelve minute drive away.

1 - Fresh bread, butter, peanut butter and our famous homemade plum jam. 2 - Granola with yogurt and fruit.
