While cozy, at just under 700 sqft, the Avalon Beach Bungalow was re-designed with an open flow and feel while maintaining its original 1950's bungalow charm.
The property is in an excellent location near restaurants, shopping, and a short walk to the beach, Avalon Fishing Pier and most activities.
The Avalon Bungalow was recently restored and renovated to provide a modern coastal bungalow living experience and feel while maintaining the history & charm of the home. You will love the upgrades to the kitchen, bath, covered breezeway with hammocks and outdoor space.
The kitchen features a butcher's block counter top with a subway tile backsplash, updated bathroom with a sliding barn door, and the existing outdoor shower was upgraded with more privacy + a rainshower head that feels very refreshing on a hot summer day.
Like mosts homes our Bungalow is not perfect. We respect that folks have different preferences and worldviews. During the right times of the year, sea turtles do nest in the beach out front, you can find large shells (like Whelks) and the surfing in the area can be epic at times - especially by the pier! The OBX is known as the east coast "Wave Magnet."
