Located at the foothills of the Tug Hill Plateau in Williamstown, New York, this unique rental is the perfect spot for the outdoor enthusiast— - and freshly-made maple syrup!. Housed in the front section of an old 1939 dairy barn, the accommodation has a unique view overlooking the pond and shows some of the old corner timbers from the original structure. It offers comfortable accommodations for 7-8 people and is perfect for small groups or families that wish to cook their own meals and have a nice large area to just hang out in and relax.
There is an on-site sugarhouse with evaporator and 100-tap sugarbush, so when the maple sap is running (approx March thru mid-April), Dave can be seen gathering maple sap and boiling down to make the “liquid gold” that New York State is known for.
Since we realize that pets are party of the family, we have also opened our lodge to pets; well-socialized and vaccinated pets are welcome to stay with their humans and enjoy the lodge and its trails as well.
Founded in 2005, this property has hosted a wide range of visitors, from salmon fisherman to cross-country skiers and snowmobilers—even a few wedding parties and birdwatchers.
