Days at the beach and nights on the town: If that sounds like a dream vacation, Beach Island Pearl is just right for you. Not only is the 4-bedroom home down the street from the beach and the Gulf of Mexico, but it’s also within walking distance of the island’s Times Square area, home to open-air eateries, bars, live entertainment, and more. All that and the house has its own private heated pool and spa as well!
Beach Island Pearl can sleep up to 8 people in its 4 bedrooms. Because one bedroom has a king-size bed, 2 bedrooms have queen-size beds, and the 4th has a pair of twin beds, the home is a great choice for several couples vacationing together or for a friends’ getaway as well as for a family. Each bedroom has its own flat-screen TV, plenty of storage, and a ceiling fan, so no matter which room you choose, you’re sure to get a great night’s sleep and wake up energized and ready to seize the day. The layout of the home makes it easy for the whole gang to spend time together—and just as easy for everyone to indulge in some one-on-one or private time. The spacious living room is both gorgeous and comfortable, with enough lush seating so that everyone can get together to watch a movie on the 54in flat-screen HDTV with cable and a DVD player. Just off the living room is a room that would be called a Dzsnugdz in England. It’s cozy but large enough to accommodate a table for 4 with room to spare. If you need to catch up on work during your vacation, this is a great space for it—though you’ll probably enjoy it even more as a spot for playing rummy or Scrabble with your friends! The screened-in porch is another delightful spot for catching up with friends over drinks, taking advantage of the free WiFi, or enjoying a book among the gulf breezes. The table here seats 4 as well; ditto the table in the eat-in kitchen. Given the cornucopia of restaurants nearby, you might not eat much during your stay. But if you do, you’ll find all the appliances, cookware, and tableware you need in the open, spacious kitchen. You can cook out by the pool as well, on a charcoal grill, and even dine out there too, under the shade of the patio table’s umbrella. In fact, you could probably spend most of your vacation out by the pool. Wide steps make the pool itself easy to get in and out, and there’s also a spa to relax in—perfect for easing tired muscles after a day of paddle boarding, biking, golfing or fishing. When you’re not in the water, you can still enjoy the sunshine and the breeze rustling through the palm trees while sitting on one of the poolside chaises. And don’t forget you also have the velvety white sands of Fort Myers Beach just a short stroll away.
You can walk out to the beach to collect shells in the early morning, return at midday to swim or parasail, and go back again to relish the sunset over the serene gulf waters. At any time of day, you’re likely to see dolphins swimming among the boats, pelicans diving for fish, and seagulls soaring overhead. For something a bit different, why not walk along the beach north to Bowditch Point Park? When you’re not hiking or canoeing among its trails and waterways, you can visit its butterfly park and tortoise area. On your way back, stop at Times Square for a drink, a snack, and a spot of people watching. If you want to go farther afield, to the mainland, you’ll appreciate Beach Island Pearl’s proximity to the Matanzas Pass Bridge: You can drive there in just 5 minutes! When you stay at Beach Island Pearl, you really can have it all: lazy days by the pool and action-packed fun in the sun, quiet evenings in and late nights out. First, though, you have to book your stay—so go ahead, and get ready for your best vacation ever!+ More
