1 bedroom, 1 bath house right on the water
50 years ago a fisherman built the house for his visits to the central coast. The fisherman owned a saw mill up the Amazon river. He eventually left and relocated to this house. The current owner acquired the house 40 years ago and it has never been available for the public to rent until you! The dock is still occasionally a "working dock", but very private in front of the house. This is the best spot to enjoy beautiful sunsets, watch boats and sea life pass by. The house includes a full kitchen, dining and living area. 1 bedroom with a queen size bed. Bathroom and shower. Apple TV only.
You have access to the dock where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets and watch sea life pass by. Owner lives on premises a couple of doors down. We ask that guests be respectful of his space. There is also a friendly cat "Tony" who likes to visit occasionally. Cat treats provided in house. The house is right in the Embarcadero. During busy season there are fishing boats going to the marina early mornings. Also, trash/recycle is in Monday mornings and street sweeper is on Tuesday mornings. Because the bedroom is faces the Embarcadero the street noise can be loud at times. Great restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, golf and hiking trails all within a few miles of the Fisherman's House. Morro Bay is a unique town just off scenic
Highway 1. It is a great place to relax and take in the coastal scenery. Everything is walkable in Morro Bay. In summer months, there is a trolley that drives through town.
I live a few blocks away and plan on meeting our guests upon arrival. I'm also happy to give recommendations and any helpful tips that you might like while you enjoy your stay.+ More
