Hi and thanks for looking at our Camp. Mainers refer to their cabins as "Camps", which I did not know until we bought our place. Our "Camp" is a newer year round cabin-style cottage located on the western side of Upper Long Pond. We have a large waterfront deck which is ideal for relaxing and enjoying the views of Long Pond. You can tie your boat up to our attached dock or nearby private mooring. The water level at the end of our dock is around 4-1/2' deep and as you come closer to the deck the level is around 18". The public boat launch is located on Lower Long Pond which is a short drive away and easily accessible. You do need to go under a bridge to access Upper Long Pond so if you have a tall boat, you should inquire about the height restriction. My boat can fit with the bimini top up.
There is great fishing and boating on both Upper and Lower Long Pond. Fishing variety consists of Salmon, Brook & Brown Trout, White Perch, Smelt, Northern Pike, Smallmouth & Largemouth Bass and Pickerel.
We typically wake up to the sound of loons in the morning. Its extremely peaceful sitting down on the deck overlooking the water while drinking your beverage of choice before the kids are in full force for the day. There is a 300 foot sandy beach that is part of our community and grassy play area just steps from the cottage that is perfect for families with small children.
Our "Camp" has a spacious kitchen and is fully equipped with a breakfast bar and dining room table.
Other amenities include: Gas Grill, Stereo, Wifi, Cable TV, DVD Player and a Washer and Dryer.
I Do Not allow campfires at the cottage.
I Do Not allow smoking.
I Do Not allow pets

If you golf be sure to bring your clubs and schedule a tee time at the Belgrade Lakes Golf Club which is just five miles away. Its Maine’s #1 rated golf course and one of the Top 100 Public Courses in the Country (Golf Digest, 2015).
Colby College is within 20 miles, approx 30 minutes, great for family weekend or Graduation.
There are many great places to eat in downtown Belgrade as well as Hallowell and other nearby towns.
Please reach out with any additional questions or inquiries you might have that I have not described or answered above.
