OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
Last winter we had 2' of snow on the ground for over 2 months which was wonderful for sledding, snow shoeing, & XCountry Skiing right from the front door, and enjoying the outdoor fire pit in the snow. When you turn off of Lower Bridge Way onto NW Teaters you have to come up a fairly steep hill and then our driveway is about 600' and comes uphill to the house. The county keep Teaters plowed and graveled but sometimes it takes a day for them to get here because they're so busy. We regularly plow our driveway down to about 1-2" of snow but it's still slippery coming up and down. **We highly recommend that when there is snow that you have an All Wheel Drive or 4 Wheel Drive vehicle, or have tire chains to put on as needed, to travel over the highway passes, get around here at our home, and around in the area, it will make your stay more safe and enjoyable.

When I arrived in my car with my girlfriend Tom and Tyrene were waiting on the front porch to meet me. WOW, the place was just gorgeous with an incredible Deschutes River view and mountain views are just amazing from the huge spacious deck. The gas fire pit was perfect to sit by and share a glass of wine. The deck also had a gas grill and a pellet smoker! Around back is a customised bocce ball court which produced some laughs for us. The kitchen is huge and the living room has a designer cabin feel with leather couches. The place was spotless and it was obvious Tom and Tyrene take hosting very seriously. Tom gave us knowledge of places to climb at Smith Rock, places to mountain bike, and fishing. Tyrene also pointed my girlfriend Jenelyn to some amazing insider trinket shops in the town Sisters where unique gifts and artifacts can be found. The decor and setting of this huge cabin nestled on 9 Acres is like something out of a hollywood movie. The bathrooms were spotless and the linens were nice. The bed was also perfectly comfortable. To date this was one of our most unique and authentic stays on Airbnb! Thanks for everything Tom and Tyrene, top notch!!!
If you want to get away and recharge. This is the place. Eastern Oregon has always been impressive, and this house reflects how wonderful the location is. Every single one of us guests were thoroughly impressed by the house, hospitality and communication. Honestly, this is the best Air BnB that I have had experience with. I highly, HIGHLY recommend.
Tom and Tyrene were incredibly kind, helpful and hospitable. They made us feel welcome and yet gave us our space. The home itself is beautiful, the view of the mountains from the hot tub alone was worth the trip. We had access to the full, gorgeous kitchen and had a relaxing sit down dinner for the first time in a long while. The bedrooms were spacious and clean, the bathrooms are to die for! It was a wonderful little get away from the city and we would definitely do it again.
This weekend a group of 8 of us stayed at Tom & Tyrene's BEAUTIFUL home. We had the most amazing time!! The home was filled with everything you would ever need. We just needed to but the food, but everything to cook with with in the home. The house was beautifully decorated for christmas! The wood stove fireplace in the living room kept it nice and warm in the snowy weather. The hot tub was the perfect touch! The bedrooms were cozy and comfortable. The best part was the views! Our trip was everything we hoped it would be and more! I would highly recommend staying in this home! We cannot wait to go back!
WONDERFUL. Tom and Tyrene were just wonderful hosts and provided the most wonderful place to sit back, relax, and remember what life should be about. The quiet snow and peaceful sounds of only nature were my favorite features. Not to mention the amazing kitchen fully stocked and kept our family of 6 around the beautiful large dining room table, decorated by perfect place settings. I can't say enough great things.
Tom and Tyrene made us feel welcome and at home, the place was as beautiful as the photos, though the view blew us away even more. Sitting in the hot tup watching the sun rise hit the mountain tops was incredible. The amenities in the house were extensive.+ More
