Norman Rockwell Museum, Edith Wharton's home - The Mount, Herman Melville's, Emily Dickinson and Mark Twain's homes are all within an hour's drive. The Hudson Valley highlights such as FDRoosevelt and Vanderbilt Mansions, Olana, Boscobel, Culinary Institute , Dia BEacon, historic Rhinebeck, Bard college with Gehry's Fisher Center and Hudson River mansions are within an hour's drive.
