Welcome to our one bedroom suite in a beautiful heritage home near to downtown Victoria. This sunny, well appointed suite has everything you need including a fenced private patio. The suite is great for a couple or small family and is in Victoria's best location- no car needed! Walk to the inner harbour, downtown, Beacon Hill Park, Cook St Village, cafes and restaurants, theaters, and many more local attractions. A lovely spot to call home while you explore all the charm Victoria has to offer!
You access the suite down a short path to a fenced private patio with outside seating – great for morning coffee or an evening wine. The interior space has an open layout that flows from the dining area into the living area and the kitchen. The suite is nice and bright and maintains some original character elements including large fir beams and some exposed brick.
There is a nicely appointed bathroom with a shower and a cozy bedroom. All of the rooms have opening, screened windows.
There is a well stocked kitchen for preparing home-cooked meals. Complimentary coffee and tea, and basic condiments are supplied. There is a very comfy queen bed in the bedroom as well as a pull-out couch bed in the living room for extra guests or children. We can supply a play pen for small children. Wi-Fi and cable TV are provided.
We are located in Fairfield. Our house is a grand Heritage house, over 100 years old. Our location is one of the most amazing in Victoria for walkability. We live on a residential street with other large Heritage houses. Within easy walking distance are many restaurants, Cook Street Village, Beacon Hill Park, Dallas Rd waterfront, the Governor General’s house with public gardens, Craigdarroch Castle, the Empress Hotel, the inner harbour, several theaters, the art gallery, the Royal BC museum, neighbourhood pubs, and, of course, Victoria’s downtown. To get downtown you can walk down vibrant Fort Street with antique stores, yoga studios and small restaurants and cafes.
During the summer on Saturdays, there is a bustling farmer/craft market just down the road on Moss Street. As we mentioned, we are very centrally located with access to much of the best that Victoria has to offer – great restaurants and pubs, micro-breweries, shopping, theatres, beaches, parks, gardens, and sights. We have compiled a small binder of nearby amenities and attractions for our guests, and we are also available to provide recommendations about exciting things to do in our beautiful city.
Aside from the easy walking to many amenities and attractions, there are nearby bus routes and the city is great for biking including having the start of the Galloping Goose trail just over the Johnson Street Bridge downtown.
Victoria is an easy city to get around. Nearby, there are bus tours and carriage tours.+ More
