What a view! This 1000 square foot, 2 bedroom plus loft cottage is located on the stunning shores of Dyer's Bay (on Georgian Bay) on the Northern Bruce Peninsula. Relax out on the great deck space, or sit at the shoreline to take in a magnificent sunrise or just to take in the view.
Drive up to the cottage along a quiet road and pull into the sloped driveway. Enter through the side of the cottage into the kitchen. The kitchen space has many of the amenities of home for your meal preparation, including fridge, stove/oven, microwave and more. The dining table with its six seats is situated by large windows that look out to the deck and the waterfront beyond. Enjoy a meal together here or out on the deck in the fresh air!
In the living room space there are two couches, a TV with satellite, a ceiling fan overhead, and a lovely gas fireplace for chillier evenings. Just adjacent is a cozy reading area with a loveseat and chair by a window looking outside.
There are two bedrooms at the cottage, as well as a bedroom loft space. Both of the main bedrooms each have a double bed and a window. To access the loft space, there is a wooden ladder (see photo, may not be suitable for young kids or those with mobility concerns). Up in the loft there are four single beds and a window to bring in some light, as well as a TV with DVD player for entertainment. The cottage bathroom is a four-piece with claw-foot tub and attached showerhead.
Out on the deck you can truly enjoy the outdoor space and the fresh air. There is a patio table with umbrella, as well as a gazebo tent to provide shade during your dining. The propane BBQ is available for you to cook up a great summer feast, all while taking in the waterfront view.
A boardwalk path, with steps, takes you from the deck to the shoreline with ease. Down on the shoreline you can enjoy a family campfire using the fire pit, or just lounge on the Muskoka chairs with a book and a beverage and take in the view. The Dyer's Bay shoreline is known for it's beautiful sunrise views and the stunning clear blue of the water - so enjoy it! The cottage is located directly between Tobermory and Lion's Head, two quaint villages that offer plenty of enjoyment for you and your family. Lion's Head has a lovely public sand beach, while Tobermory offers a beautiful natural harbour with boat tours out to Fathom Five National Marine Park. Both villages offer grocery stores, an LCBO, a bank and local shops and restaurants.
