This brand new chalet style home sleeps 8 (plus two on a pullout sofa in the den). Set back down a long red dirt lane (characteristic of PEI country homes), this peaceful home is the perfect location for your family or large group vacation.
It is located in Oysterbed Bridge - 15 minutes from the capital city of Charlottetown and a 5 minute drive to Brackley Beach and the National Park, one of the most beautiful beaches PEI has to offer. Our location is about a 20 minute drive from Cavendish and a great home base for day trips across the Island.
Our kitchen boasts granite counter tops and high end stainless appliances, including a propane stove with convection oven, french door fridge with ample room, dishwasher, microwave, and stainless apron sink. We have included small appliances such as coffee maker, toaster, kettle, etc. to make your stay more enjoyable. You can entertain easily in this home as the kitchen opens to the dining room with a handmade solid oak harvest table made from a Georgetown, PEI boatslip. The owner's father was previously a boat builder at this shipyard and you can feel the history in the room. The open concept living room has a floor to ceiling stone chimney with propane fireplace for chilly evenings.
The main floor is also where three bedrooms are located, each with a queen bed. The den is a quiet place to relax and the pullout sofa can also sleep an additional two people. There is laundry located on the main floor.
The master bedroom comprises the entire upper floor with a lookout to the great room below. The master bedroom has its own outside balcony for coffee in the morning overlooking the orchard, as well as a walk in closet and custom master en suite. The en suite has a huge custom two person shower tiled with travertine and with dual rainforest shower heads.
There is a good size deck stretching along the front of the home with plenty of room to relax. The deck will be equipped with patio furniture and a barbecue for the summer grilling season.
Guests will enjoy fluffy hotel towels and a comfortable, thoughtfully-designed space.
NOTE: The main level is up one flight of stairs and is not accessible to individuals with mobility issues.+ More
