Stay in the coolest neighbourhood in the city! Our bright and spacious 1 bedroom apartment includes ensuite laundry and a full kitchen. A perfect and roomy option for a couple or business traveler.
We have lived in the Toronto area for over 20 years and this is the area we have always wanted to live in. All of the best parks, shopping, dining, and entertainment will be in your backyard.
The space is located on the second floor of our house. It is lovely and has gone through recent renovations, so it will be calm and comfortable for your stay. You will have private access to 2 rooms. One room has a queen sized bed, and the other has a couch that pulls out to a double, a desk, a small kitchen table, and a flat-screen TV with Netflix. Either use the space as a bedroom + living space, or two bedrooms. You also have your own bathroom, full kitchen, and laundry.
We live on the main floor of the house with our 2 year old son and our 7 year old Australian Shepherd dog, Buckley. We welcome families and have lots of baby and kid stuff to lend (pack and play, stroller, kids dishes, bibs etc).
Our space is also excellent for the travelling professional. We regularly host long-term guests travelling to Toronto for business.
Interaction with Guests
We will interact as much or as little as you like - it's up to you! We are a busy family who love to travel and meet new people. We love our city and would be happy to share our favourite coffee shops, hidden eateries, and best shady picnic places with you.
The list of things to love about the Queen West/Trinity Bellwoods area would be too long to write.
Here's the Cole's notes:
-Beautiful Trinity Bellwoods Park - a perfect place to walk or bike, pack a picnic, shop at the farmer's market, shop for local art. One of our favourite things to do is to grab a growler (or two) of local Bellwoods Brewery beer and take in the gorgeous view of the CN tower.
-Queen Street West shopping - the shopping area extends from John to Ossington. The larger chains are between John and Bathurst, while smaller boutiques and speciality shops reside between Bathurst and Ossington.
-Delicious food and drink - we'd love to recommend our favourites!
-Take a walk or bike down to the lake or Historic Fort York - many music and cultural festivals happen here.
- The Rogers Centre - a quick cab or Uber ride away - Go Jays Go!
You will have a plethora of public transit options:
Osgoode Subway Station - 1.2 km (5-10 minute walk) at Queen and University
501 Queen Streetcar - 1 minute walk
511 Bathurst Streetcar - 1 minute walk
This area is also very accessible to bike - it's very common and it's a great way to see the city.
Parking is also available at a Green P parking lot just two streets over for a nightly rate of $7.+ More
