Right in the middle of the hip Main Street/Mount Pleasant scene, our bright, above-ground space is your home away from home. Close to cafes, bars, restaurants, funky shops and transit, everything is within easy reach. It is private, clean, and extremely convenient. There's a kitchen set up with all the basics (pots, pans, plates, cutlery, glasses etc.), and there's a private patio and BBQ for summer al fresco dining.
Please note that the bathroom is ensuite - it is accessed via the bedroom.
You have the first floor of our home all to yourself. You enter our townhouse the front door using an entry code (so you don't have to remember a key), and there is a door to your private area.
We try to be available to help you with any requests that you may have. We work from home so we are frequently around if have any questions or need some advice. You can also send messages via the Airbnb app and we will get back to you as quickly as we can.
There is a full-service/self-service laundromat right across the street if you need to do any laundry.
We have created a guide that we share with our guests that contains lots of useful information about the local area.
The apartment has one bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. Guests sleeping on the sofa-bed will need to go through the bedroom to access the bathroom. Because of this, the suite may not be appropriate for people who don't know each other really well :-)
The Mount Pleasant area of Main Street in Vancouver (sometimes referred to as just "Main Street" by locals), is one of the more eclectic neighbourhoods of Vancouver. It's currently "hipster central" in Vancouver, with a large variety of independent cafe's, restaurants, bars, tasting rooms (small breweries where you can drink beer as well as fill up your own growler to go), clothing stores, and practically anything else you can think of. It's also within walking distance (or a quick bus or light rail ride) of Creekside (the sea-side site of the athlete's village during the 2010 Winter Olympics that is now a large upscale condo development), Vancouver's original Chinatown, and downtown Vancouver.
You will be within walking distance of practically everything, including rapid transit (light rail) and buses if you need to go somewhere further away. If you have a car there's usually free street parking directly in front of the building or nearby. You can get transit to/from the airport if you don't have much luggage, or a take a 20 minute cab ride (usually less than $30).+ More
