A sophisticated and private townhouse apartment, attached to a beautiful village Victorian, awaits you. Located on the historic James Hallett Homestead property. With over 900 square feet of living space, one and one-half baths, kitchenette and private front porch, you'll feel like you're staying in your new home. Every bit of the apartment has a welcoming, but new, appeal. Crisp sand-toned shades, calm blue walls, and wonderful ebony pine wood floor (which was authentically refinished to pay homage the apartment's original use as a hair salon). The 14 by 28 foot living/dining room has an ottoman sofa, flat screen television, futon, comfortable chairs and a high top dining table, perfect for a Cape Cod Shore Dinner or a game of chess.
The kitchen has modern cabinets and countertop, full size fridge, convection-toaster oven, microwave, induction burner, k-cup coffee maker (in fact, we'll throw in a dozen K-cups) presto grill for those pancake mornings, and is completely outfitted with teal stoneware, stemware and silverware. Although you may not need it when you see how convenient you are to some of the nicest restaurants - from country breakfast at The Mills Restaurant around the corner, to sushi at Saga Fusion, just down the street and voted one of the best Asian fusion restaurants on Cape Cod.
Less than a quarter mile down the road is Stop and Shop, Cotuit Liquors (and their amazing wine selection and tastings), CVS, Rite Aid, Dunkin' Donuts, Pizza Wave, and Osterville Fish Market. Buy what you need and grill outdoors in your own private area!
With a location central to many of the villages that make Marstons Mills ideal - Osterville, Centerville, Cotuit and West Barnstable surround "The Mills" - and Sandwich, Mashpee, Falmouth, Hyannis, Yarmouth are a skip away, or maybe it's a daytrip to Provincetown just a jump away. There isn't anything you can't get to from here.
Hamblin's Pond, The Duck Pond and Herring Run are within walking distance, a short drive to Prince Cove, Mystic Lake, Loop's Beach, Sandy Neck, Craigville Beach and an oasis of beaches waiting for you 'down Cape' and 'up Cape.' You're in the perfect position for fun.
There are four public golf courses within 10 minutes drive, including Olde Barnstable, where you can relax over drinks and a meal while watching the siteseeing planes and gliders come into Marstons Mills Airport. Close to historic 6A for antiquing, trail walking, Sandy Neck Beach, and even closer to Route 28 where you're only a short ride to Wood's Hole Falmouth and the daily ferry to Martha's Vineyard. But don't forget to stop at Mashpee Commons outdoor mall village along the way!
At the end of your Cape Cod Day, walk up the full-sized spiral staircase to your Queen bedroom (with new comfort zone mattress, cotton bed linens, hypoallergenic down or bamboo pillows, huge bathroom and completely outfitted walk-in closet. And we mean 'outfitted! Extra towels, blankets, pillows, along with beach towels, beach chairs, yoga mats, a set of 5 lb and 10 lb hand weights, ironing board and iron, blow dryer, umbrella for the occasional shower. It seriously means you can just bring yourselves. There are two iBed hideaway guest beds that are a snap to set up and the most comfortable sleep ever, along with a port-a-crib and highchair.

Wireless Internet and a substantial channel package are included, 40 inch flat-screen TV in living room.
Did we mention that we are a smoke-free, animal free, natural cleaning product household? Our moto is that "nothing should get in the way of your good night's sleep." Which is why we have air conditioning! Even with a total of fourteen windows in your apartment and positioned on a hill there are still the occasional sticky days where AC is nice to come home to.
As the proud owners of the property, consisting of the Main House (registered in the Marstons Mills historic registry as the Captain James Hallett Homestead), the Village Apartment, and the two-bedroom Oyster Pond Cottage - named for the bay in Chatham which was its original location before it was moved to Marstons Mills in 2006, my husband Bill and I (Kathy) are a text away to answer any questions you might have about the apartment or the area.+ More
