Casa Siesta makes fun in the sun so easy! The 2-bedroom, ground-floor condo is just a short walk from the powdery white sands of Crescent Beach and the azure waters of the Gulf of Mexico. No need to load up the car and battle traffic whenever you want to hit the beach: You can simply roll out of bed and stroll down there first thing in the morning, and then you can head to and from the condo whenever you like throughout the rest of the day—so convenient! Please note, there is a 2-week minimum stay.
The sunny condo offers plenty of other conveniences too. For instance, while there are numerous restaurants nearby, serving up everything from lobster to pad thai, sometimes eating in is more relaxing (and more affordable). That’s why Casa Siesta has a drop-leaf dining table that seats 4, complemented by wonderfully padded chairs you’ll enjoying lingering in long after the meal is over.
There’s also a table for 2 on the enclosed front porch. With its screened-in wall of windows and its ceiling fan, this space enables you to enjoy the benefits of alfresco dining (fresh air! sunshine!) without the downside (bugs and oppressive heat). What’s more, the condo’s kitchen has all the appliances, cookware, and tableware you’ll need, whether you’re cooking 3 squares a day or microwaving the occasional doggy bag from the previous night’s restaurant meal. The appliances are new, by the way, as are the tiled floors (so cool underfoot!) and the air-conditioning.
The color scheme of Casa Siesta’s airy living room certainly takes inspiration from the beach, with its blue sofas, sandy rug, and cloud-white furnishings. It’s a lovely space for sprawling out and relaxing after a day of snorkeling, parasailing, and jet-skiing. The kids will have plenty of room to spread out with their Legos and action figures, and the comfy roll-arm sofas can accommodate the whole gang for movie night.
Casa Siesta’s 2 bedrooms also offer ample opportunity for rest and relaxation. The master bedroom has a spacious king-size bed. Prop yourself up on the lofty pillows, stretch out, and watch TV, read a book, or take advantage of the free WiFi to post pictures online of your day’s adventures before slipping between the sheets and drifting to sleep… The 2nd bedroom is furnished with 2 twin beds, making it perfect for the kids.
The condo’s bathroom was recently updated, with a stone vanity top, lots of storage, and a tiled shower with a built-in seat among its amenities. You’ll find plenty of freshly laundered towels waiting when you arrive, as well as made-up beds, so you can leave your own linens at home. In addition, Casa Siesta has beach towels and even beach chairs for your use—how thoughtful is that?
As lovely as Casa Siesta is, its best feature is no doubt its location. Crescent Beach has been called “the most private nonprivate beach” for its lack of crowds. At its southern end—just a 10-minute walk from the condo!—is Point of Rocks, popular with novice snorkelers for its relatively shallow waters and with snorkelers in general for its coral formations and marine life—fish, crabs, even the occasional small octopus. And should you ever tire of the beach (hard to believe, we know!), you’re just a short drive from the golf courses, amusement parks, and museums of nearby Sarasota.
For a carefree, relaxed, easy-breezy holiday in the sun, you can’t beat Casa Siesta. So make sure others don’t beat you to it; book your stay today!+ More
