This charming cabin is located on Upper Campbell Lake, 36 km West of Campbell River on the Gold River Road. It has a beautiful view of the lake in a quiet, lightly populated area. The cabin offers privacy and a respite from the pressure and commotion of urban living.
There is a queen size bed in the loft which is open to the main room of the cabin. In an adjacent room there are a bunk bed with two single mattresses, and a single bed. There is also a double size hide-a-bed in the living room area. In total it will comfortably sleep 7 people and is perfect for a family. Pets are welcome.
Features include a fully equipped kitchen, a propane range and a fridge with a small freezer, an eating area, a wrap around deck and a large propane BBQ, The bathroom has a shower with hot and cold running water and there is a plumbed cast iron bath tub on the deck. There is a TV with satellite service and DVD player. The cabin has an internet connection which is suitable for a laptop. Currently, there is no WIFI.

Cedar Creek Cabin has an enclosed swimming area with a swim float and a moorage location at the waterfront. It is a short walk downhill. There are an assortment of inflatable toys and life jackets available for guests use. Access to the water is via a ramp or a ladder. Sorry, there is no beach.
Trout fishing has been very successful at Upper Campbell Lake with guests catching two pound trout from the swim float and those with boats catching coolers full. Crayfish are quite plentiful and can be trapped.
Strathcona Park is nearby with access to its scenic falls and trails including Crest Creek Crags climbing area.+ More
