Our home is just a short walk to Commercial Drive, an exciting mix of independent cafes, restaurants, and boutiques. The Drive is the most diverse and colourful neighbourhood in Vancouver. Our place is idea for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids).
The space - Our suite is cosy, clean and comfortable. There are 2 spacious bedrooms, both with generous closet space. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the amenities you will need to make the place feel like home. The space comes with a washer and dryer, library of DVD's, and comfy beds! Complimentary tea and coffee are available for when you arrive. A couple specifics to note for your comfort, the ceiling height is just over 6' high and we are a family with 2 young children so at times there is some overheard noise however it quiets down by 7pm.
Guest access - Our suite is located on the ground floor of our character home. The suite has it's own private access from the rest of the home. We have a keyless entry, we will email your access code, no need to coordinate exact arrival time or arrange to get key.
Interaction with guests - We are more than happy to answer any questions about places and sites to visit in Vancouver.
The neighbourhood - The neighborhood pocket where our home is in Vancouver is one of the oldest residential areas in the city, filled with character homes, traffic calmed streets, 4 parks and 2 swimming pools both walkable from our suite and loads of great restaurants and supermarkets for your convenience.Blocks away from Commercial Drive
The Drive is the place to go for an urban experience of the young and hip Vancouver crowd. In addition to the many independent coffee shops, you’ll find some of the best Italian espresso bars in the city here, as well as a number of Italian delis, bakeries, and markets. Formerly known as "Little Italy," this diverse neighbourhood is home to students, writers, artists and other bohemians. Lots of different restaurants offering every kind of cuisine imaginable make this a great place to grab an authentic ethnic meal.
