Welcome to our beach house! This house was built in the 1950’s and operated as a triplex before we purchased it in 2015. We converted it to a single family home with an attached guest suite that has a separate entrance. The redesign and remodel took in excess of 12 months but it turned out exactly how we imagined it. We added new floors, new plumbing, new electrical, new HVAC, new windows, new foam insulation, new paint, new kitchen and new baths…new EVERYTHING!!!
Including the guest suite, the home has 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths and an outside shower. The home also has an attached two car garage. The garage can store one small car and the remainder is to house beach toys, beach chairs, body boards, umbrellas, and other beach accessories. You will not need to bring anything to enjoy the beach!
One of the best parts about the home is the oversized 550 sqft deck that has views of the Gulf of Mexico. The deck has a built in high end gas grill and is comfortably furnished so after a full day at the beach you can spend your evenings outside enjoying the tropical landscaped yard.
The area surrounding the home is safe and secure. Crime is not an issue in Treasure Island or the adjacent beach towns as residents are heavily involved in the community. John’s Pass Village is a short 10-minute walk from the home. Johns Pass is a quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village and is Pinellas County’s #1 tourist attraction. Over one hundred merchants (10+ restaurants) inhabit the Village with unique retail shopping, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing. Many of the restaurants and retailers are located on a 1,000 foot boardwalk that fronts John’s Pass channel. A map of Johns Pass along with a list of restaurants and shops can be found here:
If you’re looking for a more upscale evening take a short 15 minute drive to downtown St. Pete where you can go to the Dali Museum, which contains the largest collection of the surrealist’s work outside of Spain. After the museum you can have dinner at many upscale restaurants and cap off the night at one of the many bars, lounges or NY style nightclubs.
