2 bedroom 1 bath with a full kitchen guest house located on a 20-acre lemon and avocado ranch. Guests have access to the tennis court, bbq, and outdoor patio with a table and chairs. Guests are free to walk the entire property. Extremely private, secure and very quiet. Resort lock access with your own personal access code good for your visit. Our place is good for couples and families (with kids). Parking for 2 cars. Wifi internet, 2 HD TV's, DirecTV, DVR access to 80 plus movies for the whole family. 2 queen beds, a queen sofa bed, a full sofa bed and a cot. 2 pack and plays and 2 air mattresses are also available for kids.

Bring your rackets, the tennis court is always open. Mountain bikes, running shoes, surfboards are welcome too! Places of interest within 45 to 60 minutes' drive include Universal Studios, Beverly Hills Rodeo Drive, Venice Beach, Hollywood Sign, Getty Villa, Malibu, Santa Monica, Santa Barbara, local missions (San Buenaventura, Santa Barbara, Santa Ines, Los Olivos), Ronald Reagan Library, Air Force 1 Museum. Camarillo Premium Outlets (120 brand name shops, 15 minutes away) is more than just a great collection of the finest designer labels and brands, it is one of the LA area's hottest shopping destinations. Include a shopping stop during your next trip to the area. It is a bargain hunter's haven.

Other activities include ferries to Anacapa and Santa Cruz islands, kayaking around Anacapa, whale watching (when in season), surf beaches 15 minutes away, also a gateway to the Central Coast wine country, great biking and walking trails and much more.

Somis is a beautiful rural area just north of Camarillo and west of Moorpark. We are close to the Pacific Ocean, Ojai, Ventura, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles. We are located in a private gated community of estate sized homes. With more than 300 sunny days annually and an average temperature in the low 70s and typically low humidity, Somis's climate is hard to beat.

You will need a car or use Lyft/Uber to get around.

We are 15 minutes from the Ocean, Moorpark, and Camarillo Premium Outlets. 20 minutes to Ventura, Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village and Simi Valley.

There are train stations in Camarillo and Moorpark that can take you to the Downtown Santa Barbara, Downtown Los Angeles, or Downtown San Diego.

We are 75 minutes from LAX and 50 minutes from Burbank Airport.

The guest house is professionally cleaned and restocked for each visit.

In the bathroom, we provide shampoo, conditioner, liquid soap, fresh towels and a hair dryer. In the kitchen, we provide salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, tea and hot chocolate.

No events or parties of any kind. Parking for 2 cars MAX. Only paying guests are allowed on the estate.

Great stay!

Our family had a fantastic stay for a few days at the property. Declan checked in at our arrival and made sure we had everything we needed. The house is clean, well-stocked, and very peaceful. We loved how QUIET it was, despite the close proximity to shopping, groceries and restaurants. Would love to stay again in the future!

This property is AMAZING! We felt right at home, and welcomed by the owner.

This location is about an hour from L.A, Hollywood, and the beaches. I would recommend this spot to anyone, especially if your looking for peace and quite. The property is big, and has a small hike outside the gate. We enjoyed using the tennis court. There is a gas grill outside that we used, and it worked great. The owner made us feel comfortable.... We had a wonderful time on this trip. This home is in a gated community, very private, and very beautiful. The owner lives on the property and is very hospitable.
