This charming upstairs apartment is a half mile from the center of downtown Morganton, NC. Outdoors, there is a shaded breakfast area, a fire pit in the back yard (available for use), a cozy front porch with a swing, and a large swing in the back yard for children or adults. The opposite side yard has a small pond and water fountain. With friendly neighbors and paved sidewalks, it's the perfect place to enjoy wilderness or downtown with not too much complication.
The apartment has a kitchenette which is equipped with a microwave, toaster, coffee pot, refrigerator, hot plate, toaster oven, dishes, and basic breakfast items such as cereal (hot and cold), milk, juice, yogurt, and fruit. There is a master bedroom with a king bed, another roomy bedroom with two twin beds, a third small lounging room with a fold out twin bed/love seat, and additional air mattresses available. The lounging area will only be prepared as a bedroom upon request.
In the lounging area/sun room/third bedroom, there is a 32" flat screen TV equipped with basic cable and an HDMI cable for streaming from your computer. Additionally, the apartment has WIFI, a desk area (in the kitchenette) for business use, and a large bathroom with a charming claw foot tub perfect for relaxing after the day's adventures.

This quaint town offers great dining, breweries, live music, theater, art, and beautiful, mountainous terrain in three directions with large city attractions in Charlotte only an hour to the east. To the west, Asheville is an easy one hour drive. Boone is an hour north, and South Mountain State Park is 45 minutes to the south. The Blue Ridge Parkway is an hour away as well with beautiful scenic drives and hikes everywhere! There are several wineries in the area as well.
