Our Tuscan Style home is nestled under majestic Cheyenne Mountain. We are located less than a mile to the Historic Broadmoor Hotel. Our cozy retreat is located in a quiet Southwest Colorado Springs neighborhood under the cool canopy of massive old Oak trees. You will enjoy all the trappings of a large 2400 sq. ft three level duplex. Starting on the Upper level, you will find a very large beautifully decorated Master Bedroom with queen bed. There is a large armoire, three dressers and air conditioning. Off the Master bedroom is a spacious Redwood deck providing beautiful views of Cheyenne Mountain. The Master Bedroom includes a vanity/mirror and sitting area with chic vintage style couch and chair. The second upper level guest bedroom is furnished with an antique highboy and lowboy chest of drawers with elegant queen sized bed and air conditioning. Main Level finds the Tuscan style dining room, extendable antique table w/leaf and turn of the century Oak sideboard. Fully furnished kitchen with extensive spice collection provides for all your cooking and food prep needs. From the kitchen you see your family and friends lounging on the cozy leather couch and love seat taking in the warmth of a real wood fireplace. A 55 inch Flatscreen TV with cable and DVD player satisfies your entertainment needs. The lower level guest bedroom is a true gem decorated in Parisien flair. Beautiful colors and eclectic charm bring the queen size bed and comforter together for a romantic stay. The Lower Level full bath boasts beautiful color and decor. Also, the lower level sports a rec room appointed with Ping Pong table and Rock and Roll memorabilia. A small open office with Executive style desk and futon for two is also located on the lower level.
The landscaped and fenced in private backyard is your gateway to breathtaking Cheyenne Mountain scenery. Enjoy the Colorado outdoors complete with gas grill, dining area and extra seating. The serenity of the backyard is really our favorite part of this place and we think you'll love it too!
You are a stone's throw (less than a mile) from the awesome Five Star Broadmoor Hotel and its great restaurants and bars. On the Broadmoor Hotel grounds, we recommend the historic Golden Bee Piano Bar for live music, sandwiches and great pub atmosphere. The Summit , across from the hotel, is a fine place to relax and sip from their extensive wine list. The Tavern Bar inside the Broadmoor proper has a great local live band playing weekends and is a fabulous place for dancing to the oldies.
Within walking distance you'll find Panino's Italian, Joseph's Fine Dining, Coal Mine Dragon Chinese Restaurant, Little Nepal with Cuisine from India, The Borrowing Owl with vegan and beer and Omelettes Etc. for breakfast. AND we have the Smiling Toad Brewing Company with awesome craft beer in the neighborhood within easy walking distance! Sovereignty Wines with all wine, beer and spirits is a quick 5 minute stroll across Eighth Street, Look Both Ways!! A city bus stop is a 5 minute walk to Eight street and Oxford Lane. In Less than 3 miles, you are in Downtown Colorado Springs with great restaurants and some of the finest views of Pikes Peak. Our home is minutes away from all Colorado Springs has to offer yet you are tucked away in the quietude of our old Southwest neighborhood.
