The neighborhood is very quiet. There is a nearby park with tennis courts, basketball courts, a playground, picnic pavilions, and grills. Also nearby is access to "The Legacy Trail" a paved bike trail spanning from Venice to South Sarasota. There is a Publix grocery store less than a mile away and the beach is only two miles away. There are some restaurants within a mile and many more options in downtown Venice which is about 4 miles away.
There are many options within biking distance and also a nearby bus stop on the "SCAT" route which is the bus transit system for Sarasota County. Although those options are available it is highly recommended to have a vehicle to make the most of what the area has to offer.+ More
