Nice location on the lake...... but

Looks much better on the web than in real life. Being run on a shoestring, needs heavy investment. Rotting wooden staircases, balconies, childrens' play area rotting and cracking (safety issue), lots of little annoying things not working or broken in our unit. WiFi was off as much as it was on (and it was very slow). Paddle boats could only be... Read More

A First Visit ...

I am a first-time visitor to this property and to Muskoka. My girlfriend and I have rented similar cottages at various locations in Central and Northern Ontario; however, this chalet-style cottage was by far the best one we have stayed at. The property is very well maintained both inside and out. Inside the cottage, I particularly liked the large s... Read More

A Favourite

This was our fourth visit to Club Muskoka, and it's become our favourite cottage destination. The owners are down-to-earth people who are quick to respond to requests. Probably the most exciting features at the cottage are the two huge water trampolines, joined together by log-like rafts, plus a bounce pad off of which you can launch willing partic... Read More

Beware Club Muskoka

Beware Club Muskoka, While the lake is truly Muskoka beautiful, Club Muskoka leaves plenty to be desired for those that want anything better than 2 star accomodations. Our group numbered 30 including several teenage kids, and we rented 5 chalets. Every single unit was deficient in several ways, from damp sweating bathroom floors, ovens that didn't... Read More

The owner left the following response...

Been running Club Muskoka 24 years as an owner. Not all the 30 guests were Like Jeff most indicated to me they were happy. Checkout I was inspecting chalet G and was told the oven didn't work. It checked ok, This oven has 2 knobs to turn on the oven Condensation on the floor caused by cooking for 30 people. The tile floor is cool and will condense. Screens were in good condition before their arrival, I had talk to the adults about their teenagers burning anything they could find. The next morning again partially burned wood thrown into the lake. Charred wood was in the lake on the beach and around the firepit. Next morning the same case with firewood this time a garbage bag with food was scattered around by animals after it was left there. Another guests said this same group had set off fireworks at 4 am, We have clearly posted no fireworks Renting cottages is a tough job, This comment made by someone who can't control their youth says who they are or should I say are not.
