The home was once owned by Jim and Jesse Elliott and I was raised on the Farm across the road. Jim was a surveyor for the Gas company and Jesse was a housewife raising two girls. I always remembered how Jesse labored over her flower beds and had one of the best manicured yards in the North Country. No matter the season, you could always find a flower bed in full bloom...I always enjoyed the Lilac bushes.
It wasn't until after I purchased the place did I realize that the Elliott's always had the best of everything. Although the scalloped carpets are gone, some of the designer wall paper is intact and in good shape. It was definitely a house made from love and think that Jim and Jesse would be happy of the work that has been done to the house to maintain that era of days gone by.+ More
