Credit Program

To participate, CanadaStays’ users must agree to these terms, which become part of the CanadaStays’ Terms and Conditions.


FOR TRAVELLERS

Earning Credits

From time to time, CanadaStays may offer travellers the ability to earn credits towards future CanadaStays travel either directly through CanadaStays or on behalf of its marketing partners. These credits are offered in the form of a coupon code that, when redeemed, will automatically add Credits to your account in the dollar value associated with the promotion.

Redeeming Credits

Credits are automatically applied against the CanadaStays booking fee and only on the checkout page of a reservation. They must be used one year from date earned and where a balance remains from multiple Credits earned, will be applied starting from the earliest expiring credits onwards. Credits cannot be applied to past reservations.

Refunding Credits

Credits are only refunded on reservations cancelled by the property owner, they are not refunded on reservations cancelled by the traveller unless the cancellation occurs before the property owner has accepted the booking.


FOR OWNERS

Earning Credits

From time to time, CanadaStays may offer property owners the ability to earn credits towards future CanadaStays travel either directly through CanadaStays or on behalf of its marketing partners. These credits are offered in the form of a coupon code that, when redeemed, will automatically add Credits to your account in the dollar value associated with the promotion.

Redeeming Credits

If you are a subscription customer, credits are automatically applied to your next purchase of any subscription. If you are a commission customer, credits are automatically applied to the next payout made to you for a successful booking paid for via the CanadaStays platform. If you are travelling using the CanadaStays platform and you have available Credits, they will automatically be applied against the CanadaStays booking fee on the checkout page of a reservation.

Refunding Credits

Credits cannot be applied to past purchases or past payouts for completed stays, and are non-refundable except when a travel reservation is made with an applied Credit that is then cancelled by the property owner, or the traveller cancels the reservation before the property owner has accepted the booking.


GENERAL CREDIT TERMS

ABOUT CREDITS

Credits expire one year from date of issue. Where a balance remains from multiple Credits earned, remaining Credits will be applied starting from the earliest expiring credits onwards. Credits cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash or money, nor can they be accrued in multiple accounts or combined into one account. Credits may not be earned by creating multiple CanadaStays account. Credits accrued in separate CanadaStays accounts may not be combined into one CanadaStays account. Credits can only be redeemed on bookings taking place on CanadaStays properties.

Modification

CanadaStays reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify the program at any time by posting an update on this page. By continuing to earn and redeem credits, you agree that the Terms are acceptable to you and binding on you. If the modified Terms are not acceptable to you, your only recourse is to cease earning Credits and to terminate your participation in the program.

Termination

CanadaStays reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Credit Program or a user’s ability to participate in the Credit Program at any time for any reason. The rights and obligations of the parties under these Terms will survive the expiration or termination of this Agreement. We reserve the right to be the sole arbitrator in any dispute and any decision taken will be final. We reserve the right to suspend or remove credits if we notice any abusive or fraudulent activity.

Exclusion and Limitation of Liability

In no event will CanadaStays be liable for any special, incidental, punitive, exemplary or consequential damages of any kind in connection with this Agreement, even if the Company has been informed in advance of the possibility of such damages. In no event, will the Company’s aggregate liability to you about this Agreement exceed the aggregate amount of the payments made by the Company to you in accordance with this Agreement.
