During May and September, you get to see the blue angels practice flight formations prior to memorial day and Fall air shows for free. Have it all for everyone- Neaby Allenwood recreation park and Allentown senior community center for catching up and entertaining with the local senior gentry. If you have business in DC, you can easily do the metro or the bus. If you are a more than 3 people, you may find it cheaper to drive and park there. Not sure what to do? Turn your boring weekend into a retreat or book Washington DC and see the vast tax payer- funded free museums and capital of the western world power-brokers, then get away from it all in the evening. During fall season, enjoy nights at the Washington National Harbor with spectacular Woodrow Wilson Bridge west views from the wheel or just walk the bridge.
