This 3 bedroom, 1500 sq. ft cottage sits in a landscaped private 3 acre setting and offers the additional convenience of a bunkie for your guests.
The living area is open concept with kitchen, dining and living room in one large area. The living room has vaulted ceilings with large floor to ceiling windows that provide great views of Lake Huron. A propane stove provides warmth and atmosphere. Comfortable seating allows you to cozy up with a good book or watch the Satellite TV or a movie on the DVD player.
The kitchen is fully equipped for creating meals for your family with fridge, propane stove/oven, dishwasher and microwave. The dining area has a table and seating for eight.
This is a single storey dwelling so all of your needs are on one floor. It is a three bedroom cottage. The master bedroom (bedroom 2) is a spacious bedroom with a King Size bed. There are two other bedrooms inside the cottage. One has a queen size bed and the other has two singles. There is also sleeping accomodation in the bunkie which houses two sets of bunk beds as well as a loft that can accommodate 2 people.
This cottage has a 4-piece bathroom with shower and tub.
The outdoor living space offers a large 1100 sq. ft. deck where your family can enjoy dining and lounging. A propane barbecue, dining set, picnic table, loungers and Muskoka chairs offer a variety of options for enjoying the deck.
Two kayaks are provided for your recreational pleasure and the flat limestone shoreline is a great place for launching and exploring the shoreline of Lake Huron. Gradual entry to deeper water makes this a perfect place for a refreshing swim.
The nearby, small village of Tobermory comes alive in summer with visitors and lots of activities to keep everyone busy. Sightseeing boat tours on glass bottom boats, a local brew pub, hiking trails and scuba diving are just a few of the various activities that await your family. Don't forget to visit the Bruce Peninsula National Park world class visitors' center just a short walk from the village where you can climb the viewing tower and get a bird's eye view of the tip of the Bruce Peninsula and the surrounding islands.
