Memorial Weekend, July 4th Weekend, Labor Day weekend are a four night minimum stay.

On all sports Pickerel Lake in Kalkaska, MI. Great fishing. Dock and paddleboat available. There is a public launch as well. 40 minutes east of Traverse City, 15 minutes from several golf courses. 30 minutes from Schuss Mountain, 40 minutes from Torch Lake. Several ORV trails nearby. Great running and bicycling.

Lake is pristine and peaceful.

Wonderful place to relax and unwind.

Great little cottage on the lake!

We really enjoyed our stay. Cozy cottage on the lake. Beautiful views. Plan on staying again!

Perfect get-away for a couple, family of 4. Tucked away from "the whirl of the day."

Cottage nicely updated with modern fixtures, but still cozy enough for "Up North". Sadly, it rained, AND RAINED, so we couldn't enjoy "coffee on the deck" or star gazing. Corner stores, restaurants, and a short colorful drive to Kalkaska and Traverse City filled the bill.

Quaint getaway

This was the perfect quiet secluded vacation we were looking for. Far away enough from hustle and bustle yet driveable distance to the local tourist towns. We made a campfire, floated around in our tubes, went to TC, Petoskey, Harbor Springs, and Charlevoix. Our favorite was coffee on the deck in the morning. No cell phone service was a little scar...
