Newly renovated cottage. Clean, quiet and comfortable with a view directly facing Bass Lake! Just 2 hours from Toronto, accessible via 401, 407. The scenic drive into the Kwarthas / Peterborough County sets the stage for a relaxing getaway. Our cottage is located just 20 minutes outside of Bobcaygeon, Ontario on Bass Lake Road. The main cottage was recently renovated winter of 2017, with a brand new kitchen, full bathroom, and 3 bedrooms - 1 Queen Bed facing the lake and 2 bedrooms with 1 Double Bed with Single Bunk. Nestled in the woods just behind the main cottage is 2 Cabin's accompanied by a private shower house. The first Cabin is spacious with a Queen-size bed with lounge area for relaxing. The 2nd cabin has 1 twin bed an 1 double bed - kids love it! Main cottage and cabin have power and electric heat for those chilly nights. This hideaway is basically our mini resort for relaxing with friends and family all year round. Spring, Summer, Winter, Fall - each season offers a very unique experience.
Our guests have access to 1 paddle boat, 2 canoes, 4 junior kayaks, and life jackets. There is a boat launch at then end of Bass Lake Road along the beach. There is a long dock at the cottage for boat parking with easy access. For those avid ATV'rs, you will be in your glory! In close proximity to The Bobcaygeon Twin Mountains Snowmobile Club Snow, ATV & Snowmobile enthusiasts have access to over 159 kilometers of trails!

Bass Lake is located along Bass Lake Road northeast of Bobcaygeon Ontario in Peterborough County - co-ordinates: Lat. 44° 41' Long. 78° 32. Five streams flow into the lake and Nogies Creek flows out of the lake on the south side via the Bass Lake Dam. The perimeter of the lake is 8.16 km (5.1 miles) the lake reaches maximum depths of 34' there is a lot of cover for the major fish species including reeds, weed beds, lily pads, submerged logs and stumps there is a public boat launch off of Fire Route 407.
