This downstairs apartment in a freshly renovated home in Downtown Raleigh has a fenced in back yard with outdoor dining and grilling. You have a deck and a patio to enjoy the beautiful Raleigh weather. It is a 1 bedroom with a Kingsized bed, 1 Bathroom, also a living room with a pull out queen sleeper sofa. We have a brand new washer/dryer combo and plenty of closet space. Great light, newly painted and all brand new furniture and bedding. Brand new dishwasher, as well. With an open floor plan, exposed brick and recessed lighting the space feels very big and is super functional. There is also a desk area with wireless internet (we have a fiber optic connection and push a wireless signal throughout the house and back yard). We are happy to host both kids and dogs. We ask that dogs be crated if possible, that they are not left outside alone (for long periods), that you clean up after your furry companion, and that you refrain from bringing them if they are excessively talkative. Dogs are not allowed on any of the furniture or beds. We provide a dog bed, food and water bowls, treats, and dogie bags to help make your stay as convenient. We have lots of amenities for children. We are happy to provide a porta-crib, high chair, sippy cups, kids plates and forks, age appropriate toys, and baby gates on the porch for young children. Rules for kids are similar to any home: no excessive noise outside of normal hours (9am-9pm), no food or drinks outside the kitchen or porch, no leaving your children unattended outside.
Please also remember this is our home, where our parents stay when they come to visit. Please treat it with kindness so that it stays nice for our family and others.

There is some noise transfer between this apartment and the other apartment upstairs. They do not have access to your porch and back yard area and we ask that you respect their use of the front yard and porch. You will hear footsteps and some noise transfer when there are children on the property. We ask the people upstairs to be respectful of the same noise rules and if there is anything outside of the normal we ask you to let us know immediately and we will make sure your visit is a great one!
NO SMOKING inside the apartment. If any smoking is done on the back deck please make sure you clean up after all traces, butts and ashes. Please dont use our glasses or bowels for an ash tray, consider bringing your own.
Pet Policy: No pets UNLESS PERMISSION IS GRANTED ON A LIMITED BASIS. Please submit a reservation request describing your pet. If your pet barks while you're away or sheds a great deal then we ask that you not send a pet request. Any pets that make excessive noise will be asked to leave.
A $100 Nonrefundable Pet Fee will be added to every rental to cover the additional cleaning fee. Any stay over a week will be charged an additional $100/week non refundable pet fee.
Children/baby policy: we are happy to host kids of all ages and we try very hard to help make their stay as comfortable and happy as possible. But excessive noise/crying especially during typical sleeping hours 9pm to 9am will not be acceptable. (Aka not time to sleep train lol) If this becomes a problem you will have to leave. (Basically kids and pets are welcome if they are travel friendly. This isn't a co space but there is a person above you.)
There is a upper apartment above your space. Please be courteous.
The back deck is strictly for the lower apartment and the front yard and porch are strictly for the upstair apartments use.
Nothing down the toilet but toilet paper. This is a vital rule. Any guest with children under 12 will be required to use Scott's Brand toilet paper (which will be provided)
Right now, due to pending permitting with the city, parking is in the street in front of the house. Please do not use the driveway, it is not fully our property.
We have dog baggies, please clean up after your furry companions.+ More
