Quaint, 750 square foot cottage (plus bunkie) located along the shore of beautiful Dyer’s Bay on Georgian Bay. This cottage provides a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and will allow you to relax and enjoy the stunning views.
Enter through the rear of the cottage and find the kitchen which is equipped with a fridge/freezer, stove/oven, microwave and more. There is ample counter space for you to prepare your meals and the open feeling of the kitchen and living room space is comfortable while allowing you to keep an eye on the kids!
The inviting living room has two couches nestled next to a woodstove and in front of a large window so that you can enjoy the view direct out to Dyer’s Bay. You’ll notice the tongue-and-groove pine panelling along the walls, giving this space a true cottage feel. Just adjacent to the living space is a dining table and four chairs so that you can enjoy a sit-down dinner. There is also a door out to the front of the cottage located here, so you have easy access to the shore.
This cottage has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with bunkbeds (single over double) - while both rooms have bright windows. There is one bathroom which is a three-piece.
In addition, there is also a four-season bunkie on the property which provides two sets of single bunkbeds. This allows for more sleeping space for the people in your group, and can also be a great spot for the older kids to have their own space!
To get the shoreline, there is a small lane to cross. This road is specifically used by cottagers on the lane and is not a main road. Across this road is a set of stone steps down to the flat rock area where you will find a patio table with umbrella and chairs, as well as a shoreline fire pit. This is a great spot to sit and enjoy a campfire while taking in the sights of the bright blue waters of Georgian Bay. The shoreline itself is a mix of flat rock and rubble, and water entry is initially shallow on flat rocks before it gets steadily deeper. The cottage features 2 kayaks and a canoe.
The backyard at the cottage is a great spot for the kids to play, in both sun and shade. There is a propane BBQ available for your use (for a great summer meal!) and also a clothesline umbrella so you can hang up your towels after a day in the water.
