Welcome to Red Door Guest House. Our home is set on one acre and located in a beautiful country setting with water views of the Saanich Inlet. This hidden country gem is perfectly situated between Victoria and the natural beauty that Vancouver Island has to offer.
This idyllic vacation getaway invites you to relax on your private backyard patio after touring the local wineries, or perhaps after a more active day exploring the area by kayak. This home offers the peace of a home away from home. Red Door Home is a spacious and beautifully decorated 1500 sq. ft (150 sq. m) space with a large living/dining room, 2 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. A full kitchen is equipped with all the amenities you will need for your stay, including dishwasher, washer and dryer.

THE MASTER SUITE:
The comfortable Master bedroom has a queen-size bed and a spacious modern ensuite bathroom with shower and a deep soaker tub.
This tastefully decorated bedroom has a European queen size bed, has its own ensuite bathroom, and has a beautiful view of the garden.
THE PATIO & OUTDOOR SPACES
Enjoy a glass of local wine with your dinner on your private patio or soak up the sun on the lounge chairs in the manicured gardens. Kids will enjoy playing in the treehouse nestled in the trees on the back of the property.
Just across the street is Mill Bay Beach which is a perfect spot for bringing a picnic basket and and watching the seals or occasional orca. Kayaks are available just down the road, kayaking around Mill Bay is a fun way to explore the stunning area.
Red Door Guest House has guest parking for 2 vehicles on the left side of the gravel driveway and has a private entry on the front of the home, look for the Red Door! You will be given a code for the lock box as soon as you have confirmed your reservation.

The Cowichan Valley area also boasts many award-winning wineries. Enjoy a day trip to the sandy beaches of Parksville, or adventure out to Ucluelet,Tofino and Long Beach, or possibly take a road trip to the amazing ancient Old Growth Forests of Vancouver Island..
Our capital Victoria has so much to offer: From fine dining to theatre and the Victoria Symphony, to the many beaches and the parks. Duncan is also known as the City of Totems and has over 40 beautifully carved totems scattered all around the City. With rich history behind each totem, it is a “Must See” on your visit to Duncan.
The Little Town That Did. Chemainus is a picturesque artsy village nestled between the mountains and ocean directly on the coast. Enjoy the 40 giant murals, the famous Chemainus Theatre, shop trendy shops and galleries, and browse farmer’s markets.
