West Seattle is listed as one of the Top Ten Trendiest Neighborhoods in the World. Surrounded by the Puget Sound and close to downtown, it's one of the fastest growing neighborhoods in Seattle. This lovely 2 bedroom bungalow is nestled on a uniquely large property, with decks leading to an old growth garden. Here you will be less than 5 minutes to Lincoln Park, 12 minutes to Alki beach and less than 15 minutes downtown... walking distance to Lincoln Park and Vashon ferry, close to West Seattle beaches, restaurants and other awesomeness. It's quiet and safe yet you're less than 6 miles from downtown Seattle tourist activities and 15 minutes from the airport Each bedroom is piled high with down/down alternative comforters (please ask if you need down alternative) and has a small private deck. It's your choice of either a regular plush, spring coil mattress or a new, thick memory foam mattress in case you have a preference. The bath has a wonderful double headed shower but no tub. On a beautiful day why not enjoy a drink or a good book on the main deck which leads down to a crushed granite patio and propane outdoor fire pit.
Please note: Houses in Seattle are typically smaller than average US homes. 4 guests are welcome but that includes children - this house was originally a craftsman cottage so the interior floor plan is 850sqft and your rental includes 3 decks and a 3000sqft yard.

West Seattle is a fantastic booming Seattle neighborhood 5 minutes to downtown via water taxi or 10-15 minutes by car (depending on traffic). This is a welcoming and cozy vacation home. Good for couples, families, solo and business travelers.
The neighborhood is residential with great local shops: Locol (wine bar with live music), Westys (a microbrew sports pub), Stuffed Cakes (delicious), Bird on A Wire Coffee, a local produce market selling local produce from Pikes Place Market as well as a public pool and outdoor tennis courts. if you need general amenities, Westwood Village is close by (groceries, 24 hr fitness, Target, etc.). If you feel like it you can walk for about 15 minutes and you'll be in Lincoln Park - so lovely! Or take a quick ride on the water taxi straight into downtown Seattle.
But really, where are you? Seattle is comprised of neighborhoods (West Seattle, International District, Lake Union, Sodo, Ballard, University District, Madronna, Capitol Hill, etc.) and this home is located in West Seattle. And West Seattle is Seattles 7 mile hidden gem. With 2 sandy northwest beaches (one of which you can have evening fires), an old-growth park with forested walking trails and an outdoor saltwater pool within walking distance, resident orca whales swim past, a water taxi downtown, a golf course, a historic movie theater showing current movies, an awesome weekend farmers market, a spawning salmon creek, ferry to Vashon Island, transportation that takes you skiing for the day, delicious restaurants and cafes, more ways to exercise than you have time for, as well as kayak and bike rentals at your fingertips. We are family-friendly, laid back and the city's largest neighborhood yet only 7 square miles. Really, how do we fit it all in? Well, everything is very close but here at WS Cape Cod, it's safe and quiet :)

And my recommendation is to take Uber so you don't have to pay Seattles hefty parking fees. In fact, use my code to get $10 off your first ride: uberfabulouswestseattle+ More
