Welcome to the garden suite by the sea! Our home is comfortable and family-friendly. Our purpose-built suite is basement level and set on a quaint street just a few minutes walk to the popular Dallas Road beaches and a 5 min stroll to Cook Street Village where you will find grocery stores, bank, pharmacy, walk-in clinic, cafes, pub and popular eateries. Downtown is a 20 min walk and we are steps from the bus route. Come enjoy a home away from home.
Our self-contained two-bedroom suite is comfortable and private. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you could need for preparing and cooking meals. One double bed in the master and two twin (single) beds in the other bedroom. High-speed wireless internet available for your convenience. JBL phone/ipod speaker in living area. Washer/dryer in suite.
The suite is completely private with a separate entrance. The suite key will be in a lock box and I will provide a code a couple of days before your arrival. One driveway parking spot available right outside your suite. Additional free parking available on the street.
Interaction with Guests
We are a friendly family of four living on the main floor of the house and love our city! We are happy to answer any questions regarding your stay. I will provide you with my cell number for communication purposes. The suite has a binder listing local attractions, amenities, best eateries and some of Victoria's best-kept secrets. We have two school-aged children living on the main floor of the house so typical children noise will occur. However, we enjoy a busy outdoor lifestyle and will be very quiet between 8pm - 8am.
Between Cook Street Village, Beacon Hill Park and our local beaches, we can't wait for visitors to enjoy all Fairfield has to offer.
Park in our private driveway right outside your accommodation. The suite is steps away from the public transportation line.
Other Things to Note
Our suite is just around the corner from vibrant Cook Street Village where you can grocery shop, treasure hunt in antique shops, visit lively eateries or dine al fresco at a sidewalk cafe. With the Pacific Ocean just a couple blocks away and beautiful Beacon Hill Park, Fairfield is the place to be. Downtown Victoria is an easy 20-minute walk.
Our suite was purpose-built in 2006 and is in a 100-year-old character home. One quirk to mention is that the shower/bath was built with a dropped ceiling so it is about 6'0 high. Jody, who is 6'2 showered in it for two years and didn't seem to mind bending a wee bit.
