Foymount farm is set off the road by it's own lane in the midst of over 140 acres, mainly wood-lot with a few farm animals, horses, fruit trees and home grown vegetables.
We hope that our visitors will use us for their get together's whether it be family reunions, workshops or meetings or a 'get away from it all' experience in company, or solitude. We hope that they may experience a sense of calm and well being during their stay here and enjoy the walks and natural beauty that surrounds them.
At certain times of the year there may be fresh, organic, home grown vegetables and free range eggs from the farm for your use.
We are open to any special requirements and hope to serve your needs.

Our three bedroom cottage offers space and all the home comforts. This cottage has its own backyard with seating, fire pit and barbeque.
This cottage comes with a full kitchen with stove, large fridge, pots, pans cutlery, dishes ect. Coffee maker, toaster and microwave and a breakfast bar that looks out towards the woods. If you are lucky you may see a deer, especially in the fall.
The three bedrooms have twin and queen beds all supplied with clean bedding.
The bathroom has a shower, washing machine and dryer. Hot and cold water. Towels are supplied.
Enjoy peaceful walks on the trails and around the farm. Come and meet the horses, Eyora the donkey, Browny and Rosie the cows, and ducks, hens, pot belly pigs and our small flock of sheep and goats. Collect the eggs, ride a horse or donkey, pet the animals and help 'put the animals to bed'.
All our horses have been trained using a method of communication and understanding rather than intimidation,force and mechanics. If you would like to know more, then there will be plenty of opportunity to watch and learn while the horses are being trained / played with in their own language.
An introduction to Natural horsemanship is available for anyone wanting to learn more about horses , their behaviour and how to improve their relationship with them. Open to everyone. No experience or riding necessary. If you love being around horses then that is enough.
