Mingle with the stars on 10 magical acres in the Mojave Desert. Incredible mountain views. Minutes from town. See a show at Pappy and Harriets. Experience nature. ATV in the nearby off-roading park. Take a sound bath at the Integratron. You'll love our place because of the views, the location, the people, the ambiance and the stars. Our place is an enchanting, glam house that celebrates the creative, rock'n'roll vibe of our corner of the Mojave Desert.
The Serious Moonlight House is a glamtastic, rock'n'roll 2 bedroom house that sits on our 10-acre "Mojave Beach" compound in the heart of the Mojave Desert. It offers two bedrooms each appointed with queen size beds, a full futon and a chaise which can both convert to beds, a hot tub, a bathtub/shower, rock'n'roll poster art, a DVD library, games, a Keurig coffee maker, and much more.
There is a hot tub, stargazing pads, and miles of public hiking/off roading trails behind the property. It's the perfect spot to relax, enjoy nature or to let your creativity flow.
Mojave Beach is around the corner from the Integratron and Giant Rock, 20 minutes from Joshua Tree National Park and Pappy and Harriets, 10 minutes from antique shopping in Old Town Yucca Valley and a 40 minute drive to Palm Springs. Yet, it is far enough away from the "action" to enjoy the peace, tranquility and the magic of the desert.
The Serious Moonlight House is one of several buildings on our 10 acre property. There may be other guests or owners staying on the property in other structures. There are many communal areas, including the hot tub, stargazing pads, and outdoor kitchen. We ask that our guests share the property with each other and respect the common space. We want you to make yourself at home!
INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
We love meeting guests, but we let our guests have plenty of space. We want to make your stay as comfortable and fun as possible. We are available to answer any questions and point you to nearby attractions/restaurants/etc.
Otherwise, we'll leave you to enjoying the desert.
There's not much public transportation, but there is a local taxi service.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
DO NOT TAKE ANY DIRT ROADS TO GET HERE! We'd hate for you to get stuck on your way. Some Navigation apps tell people to take dirt roads, but there are paved roads all the way here.
This beautiful desert hideaway is best suited for 3-4 people, but can easily sleep up to 6 with the futon and chaise in the living room. This is reflected in the pricing.
You can park your car for free onsite. There is a 2 car maximum due to the fragile nature of our desert flora and fauna. If you need to park more than 2 cars, please make arrangements with us before booking your reservation.+ More
