Welcome to The Homestead and beautiful South Beach with steps to white sand beaches and gorgeous freshwater Lake Michigan. Come enjoy your vacation in a spacious home full of light, comfort, and happiness. Guests from all backgrounds are welcome in this home. Celebrate life's milestones with families, or groups of friends, all year round!
The condo is part of the Homestead Resort, and the last condo complex on the beach. That means more beach for you! The Homestead is a top destination spot for vacations, getaways, weddings, reunions and meetings, spa and salon services, and year-round recreation. It is located within the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore in scenic northern Michigan, the area chosen by viewer's of ABC's Good Morning America as the Most Beautiful Place in America.
The town of Glen Arbor, full of adorable shops and restaurants, is a short drive, walk or bike ride (1 mile) away. Sleeping Bear dune climb, a must, is also just outside of town.
Please make this home your home during your stay. It has 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths upstairs. 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath, (1) bunk bed and addt'l (4) loose twin mattresses downstairs. Sliding doors out to deck and beach downstairs. Outdoor deck upstairs and down. Gas grill is located downstairs on lower deck. Full kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, and fully stocked utensils for cooking. Many condiments and spices are available for cooking. You are welcome to use and replenish. Two open living rooms upstairs and down. TV both upstairs and down. Movie collection.
This home is also equipped with beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and inner tubes. You have full access to our entire place. This home does NOT include membership to the Homestead Beach Club, sorry. There are tennis courts in town, bike trails, and plenty of golf courses nearby. Bikes, canoes, and kayaks are all available for rent in town.
This home is a smoking free home. No Pets, please. Bonfires are allowed in designated fire pits on the beach only. Our condo complex is very strict about that and for good reason. Over the years evening beach bonfires have been randomly built outside of a fire pit, and small children have stepped on the smoldering coals walking to the lake the next morning. Bad! Fireworks are not allowed and you will be fined. The condo complex is serious about that one too, as we've had building fires (buildings are constructed of all wood) over the years. Thank you for understanding.
There is a full parking lot for South Beach Building #3. One parking space is available for this condo. Other spaces are designated by a 'V' for visitor. You are welcome to park in any of them. Boats and jet skis are welcome with a ramp in the town of Glen Arbor. Parking for water toys is available in the South Beach parking lot, further down from our place.+ More
