We are new to VRBO, so there are no reviews yet (brand new queen bed). We have had several friends and family use the house recently, and they all loved it.
Chez Georgette is on "The Hill"; the best walk-able neighborhood in the Berkshires. Walk everywhere including to the lake beach, river, college campus loop and Main Street with its restaurants, theaters and coffee shops. No need to cross or even use any of the "busier" area roads. This is a neighborhood of quiet leafy streets and trails.
3 Bedrooms, 2 large modern bathrooms, remodeled kitchen, LR, DR, play room, and a giant 3 season screened sun room surrounded by lush trees and gardens. Wood floors throughout. Lush and shady front and back yards with wooden lawn furniture. Off street parking. Sleeps 6. One more if you bring your own air mattress.
The two bedrooms with twins are downstairs and share a large clean bathroom with tub and shower.
The private master bedroom with brand new queen bed is upstairs with en suite bath with jet tub and hand held shower.
The three season screened porch with dining table is surrounded by nature, and is adjacent to the dining room and kitchen. This porch also has its own landing with gas grill and a stairway down to the back yard (with additional seating and picnic table).
Children welcome. The large back yard is fully fenced on three sides. The fourth side is bounded by a hedge row, the house and the private driveway. And this is a great quiet neighborhood for learning to ride a bike!
