This quaint family cabin near Twain Harte ( 19896 Greenview Drive, Twain Harte, CA, 95383 ) sleeps 5 people.

It’s a "rustic" two story A-frame cabin that has a master bedroom with a double bed; one bedroom with two twin beds and another double futon bed downstairs in the living room (perfect for somebody that has trouble going upstairs). Also there is an upstairs loft that you access from the master bedroom (it's a great place for kids!)

Note: the bathroom is located on the main floor.

The main living room has 1 large sofa and 1 loveseat couch and a fireplace with an efficient wood burning insert. It is equipped with a TV to play DVDs (NO CABLE available, but plenty of good movies are provided). The upstairs master bedroom is also features a TV with VCR player (where your kids can watch our wide selection of old and modern VHS-family movies). You will also find lots of classic "Board Games" that will allow for plenty of family time without the distractions of internet (NO Wi-Fi or cable TV)

Keep warm in front of the fireplace (we provide the wood) or use the central heating to get the cabin nice and cozy for those snowy winter days and nights (Note: "central heating" in the main living area and "space heaters" on the upstairs bedrooms, and NO Air Conditioning)

The kitchen is complete with all cooking utensils, silverware, plates, toaster, coffee pot, refrigerator, microwave oven, blender, garbage disposal and soap. Just bring your own food to cook on the electric stove or use the weber grill barbecue we have out on the deck for summer barbecues.

We also have patio furniture to enjoy out on the decks during good weather.

And one more plus..... lots of FLAT parking area for your cars!!! ( very important during the snowy winter months)

Note: if you must check your email, you can go to Alicia's Sugar Shack Bakery & Cafe for a great breakfast burrito and some WiFi !!!! only 2 minutes from the cabin

Things To Do during your stay:

A must-do is a visit to the quaint little town Of Twain Harte for some great burgers at “The Rock” cafe (our family favorite), a game of mini-golf (good evening entertainment) or a serious game at the 9-Hole golf course; some tennis at the local public courts or shopping at any of the unique little stores.

The cabin is located just under 30 minutes drive to Pinecrest Lake where you can swim, hike around the lake, rent a boat or go to the summer outdoor movie theater.

Dodge Ridge Ski Resort is only, about 20 miles away and welcomes all sorts of snow activities during the winter.

Also, only about 20 miles away are the Moaning Caverns to go exploring and do some panning and just maybe, you can end your day at Columbia State Historic Park a living gold rush town.

Other activities to plan during your stay are the many lakes and rivers to go fishing like the Stanislaus river, hiking at Relief Reservoir, biking to Lyons Dam, horseback riding at Tuolumne Meadows and much more.

And don't forget about Yosemite National Park only about 60 miles away (or just over 1hr. drive) from Twain Harte.

Exactly What We Needed

Everything was exactly what was promised! We were looking for a little getaway that’s close to hiking and other outdoors recreation. This was perfect. Wonderfully stocked kitchen. Loved sipping coffee on the deck.

Awesome getaway

Loved the porch for the warm morning and the wood burning stove for the cold night. Thanks for supplying the wood!

It was exactly as advertised. The photos and description are spot on

The A frame was great and the price was amazing. It was comfortable and spacious. Everything worked and was clean. It is quaint and cozy. We loved the enormous decks on both sides of the unit to sit and look at the forest. Kitchen was stocked well with pots and pans and everything you need to feed yourselves. Just bring the food. The market in Twai... Read More

Cute A frame cabin getaway

Loved having a nice clean place to stay for the night before heading into the Sierra's for a week.

Pretty view and cozy but probably better in fall or winter

I did not realize there was no a/c and it was miserably hot being 90+ degrees. Also only one small desk fan, a few larger fans for guests staying in the summer would be good.
