And the kids will love the backyard complete with trampoline and basketball net. New for 2017 - air conditioning unit for the master bedroom.

Located on the main street in the village of Wellington and within view of Lake Ontario, Gwyn Haven is walking distance of the public beach & boardwalk, a lakeside park with playground, and the Millennium Trail. Just two blocks away is the quaint downtown with grocery store, restaurants, café, public library, bank, galleries, studios, and some miscellaneous shops & boutiques. There is also public access to the lake about a block away via Narrow Street.

While you're visiting the area, take advantage of the wonderful scenery & country roads, sand dunes & beaches, golf courses & fishing, festivals & farm markets that Prince Edward County offers. Enjoy a day of tasting and discovery at local wineries and fine dining establishments. Visit the museums, theatre, art galleries, artisans, and antique shops that abound. You won't want to leave and you'll definitely want to return! And it's conveniently close to Toronto (2 hours), Ottawa (3 hours), and Montreal (4 hours) so visit as often as you like.

Four bedrooms - accommodates 8 (max 6 adults) - all bedrooms are on the 2nd level

Master bedroom with king bed - room AC and ceiling fan.

Bedroom 2 with king bed (convertible to 2 twins) - ceiling fan.

Bedroom 3 with double bed - room AC and ceiling fan.

Bedroom 4 with 2 twin beds (convertible to 1 king) - ceiling fan.

Note: If you require different size sheets for bedrooms 2 or 4, please advise Guest Services when you make your booking.

2 pc bathroom - main level.

3 pc bathroom with shower - 2nd level - newly renovated for 2017.

4 pc ensuite bathroom with tub/shower and adjoining laundry room - 2nd level.

A house with character And a great

We really appreciated the spaciousness and variety of sitting rooms. The kitchen is very well equipped and very convenient. Since we arrived after a snow storm, our stay would have started out better if the driveway had been cleared.

Unfortunately, it seemed to be a case of timing. With the amount of snow we had received in a 24 hour period and your arrival being Christmas Day. Excellent cottage close to everything

Just as described and shown in the pictures. The cottage is very well equipped with lots of great cookware and a nice BBQ. There were even some toys for our toddler to play with. Highly recommended!

Gwyn Haven

Our stay at Gwyn Haven was great. There is lots of sitting areas in the home too choose from. Beds were comfortable and the house was clean. Kitchen had everything you need. Very quiet area.

A lovely, comfortable home with lots of room!

The home was very well equipped and comfortable. The only suggestion might be to provide bar soap for the showers and perhaps for explicit instructions on how to run the gas fireplace as we were not able to get it to work.

Perfect family vacay in the county!

Great location in quiet, but vibrant, Wellington just steps away from downtown with great restaurants, cafés, bike rental shop (shoutout to Ideal Bikes!), and groceries!
