Property Description

Overview

A great apartment just blocks from the hustle and bustle of downtown San Francisco, and you wouldn't even know it was there.

Street parking is surprisingly easy!

Walk Score of 98, with Moscone Center right around the corner for business travelers

The Apartment

Newly remodeled and fully equipped to serve as your home-away-from-home.

Perfect for business travelers and families that want the best part of being the city but the quiet of a small residential street.

Guest Access

There is a lockbox by the front door. The code will be sent to you three days before you check in.

Guest Interaction

I'm available for any questions but I have a property manager for anything that might come up.

Getting Around

Visitors to San Francisco/Bay Area have three options of getting around:

  • Uber/Lyft: My recommended choice- It's cheap, quick, and the most comfortable option. You never have to worry about parking (which can be a nightmare), it's 2-3 times faster than public transit, and you can grab a ride to downtown for about $10. Makes a lot of sense if you need plan to stay in the city and only hail 1-3 rides a day.
  • Public transit: Is very reliable and by far the cheapest choice but all the transfers can mean for a longer ride.
  • Renting a car: Likely the most expensive option, as you'll also have to contend with parking but definitely the best option if your intention is to venture out of SF and around the Bay Area.

Good: clean house. Location: Its very close to downtown but not feel very safe. Many homeless around that area. Dislike: I and my husband traveled with my parents. I asked one extra blanket for my father, but Høst refused to help. Cell phone signal is really bad in the house. Wifi was weak, less than 25 mps.

Terrible

Apartment is located in an alley. The alley is full of homeless people who urinate all over the walls and street. Several occasions we had to step around the mattress they would sleep on directly by the front gate leading to the apartment. Drug deals were witnessed on a daily basis. When we arrived the floors were dirty and everyone had black feet... Read More

Read More

Good location

The apartment was very nice and in a great location. Easy access to downtown and the bus system. If you enjoy walking you can handily walk to Chinatown or Pier 1 on Fishermans Wharf. Only downside was several blocks of homeless and urine+ soaked streets had to be traversed before reaching Market St. However, I never felt unsafe or hassled. Plus the... Read More

Apartment refurbished, clean and very well connected with public transport

The apartment is as indicated in the photos, refurbished, clean and well connected with public transport. Although the first impression of the neighborhood on leaving Bart at Powell station and down the 6th, we were surprised by the number of homeless people around the neighborhood, during our stay in the city we were able to detect that this is a...
