Rock hounds can find amethyst, and crystals all along this historic drive, along with gold and/or silver. Fool’s gold or pyrite is common as well. For the fishermen in the bunch, the river boasts both Brown and Rainbow trout. The streams will have Brook Trout. Lakes may have all three varieties of Trout.
