This is a one-of-a-kind vacation home located on the Hudson River. The upstairs has a master bedroom (queen size bed) facing the Hudson; two guest bedrooms (each with a full size bed); and a large bathroom facing the Hudson with shower and clawfoot tub. The main floor is an open plan with a living area, dining area, and fully-equipped kitchen (with stove/microwave, toaster oven, food processor, stand mixer, and wide range of pots, pans, and utensils. a 10'x30' screened in porch has a large dining table and comfortable chairs to relax with a full river view.
You will have access to the main floors of the house plus the basement for the washer and dryer, as well as the backyard and beach.

Coxsackie is a small, historic waterfront village with a one-block main street that has a bank, post office, restaurant, wine and spirits shop, and library. West Coxsackie (just 10 minutes from the house) has a supermarket, wine shop/liquor store, pharmacy, several diners and restaurants, a pub, a Stewarts gas station, and an emergency medical clinic. The village of Athens (15 minutes away) has a brew pub (Crossroads) serving locally-sourced vegetables and meats, and Black Horse Farms, a farmstand selling local vegetables and baked goods. The house is a 20 minute drive to Hudson, which has many antique shops and restaurants (and an Amtrak station). Windham and Hunter ski slopes are about 45 minutes away. The area has many rural roads for cycling and the hiking trails of the Catskills are easy to drive to.

The Hudson River is rated swimmable in Coxsackie. However, swimming and kayaking/canoeing can be dangerous, and your use of the river is entirely at your own risk.+ More
