A very stylish, modern, clean and open apartment in a fantastic location! So many great places to eat and hang out within walking distance. Michael is a very responsive host. Doesn't get much better as far as 1 bedroom/bath places go on in San Francisco.
Michael's place was a well designed, well appointed, welcome respite after a long day of work. Wonderful attention to detail. I felt at home immediately. I particularly enjoyed basking in the morning sun to prepare for my day. 4 barrel coffee just two blocks away, for that all important morning caffeine fix. Michael was a wonderful host and I would happy to stay at his place again.
Perfect location, great space, close to restaurants, and walking distance to public transportation. Mike was a great host! Very responsive to email and left a surprise treat basket for us upon arrival. His apartment was clean, bright, and the patio was nice to relax in the evenings. I would def recommend staying at his apartment.
Everything was set up nicely. All clean and as described. My colleague and I were impressed. Great location, close to shops and restaurants in the Mission, good transport to down town SF. We would stay again for sure.
Michael's place was wonderful. We felt welcome and at home in such a beautiful space. He was a gracious host who made himself very accessible and easy to communicate with--would definitely recommend staying here.

Absolutely wonderful place, excellent location. The little touches were great - there was nothing that Michael didn't think of. Really REALLY appreciated the: super smooth check in process, Michael's super responsiveness from booking inquiry til post-stay, and the yummy treats! I left some stuff at his apartment (seriously - what girl forgets her makeup bag?!) and he was so courteous in helping to make sure I got it back. I need to find another reason to go to SF so I can stay here again.

I never did get a chance to speak with Michael in person, but as soon as I committed to the listing, he communicated right away with instructions on just about everything. The best part about this place is by far the little details that Michael paid attention to. No matter what you might have forgotten, he has it covered. Snacks, travel toiletries, comfortable bed, and just well done. It simply felt like a family member took the time to think about us. If you have a chance to stay here, I would recommend it.

Michael was a great host. He made everything easy and smooth and was always easy to reach. Upon arrival I had a great basket of snacks and lots of water, coffee and tea waiting for me. The apartment was great as well, I had a wonderful stay and will be booking here again.

I booked Michael's apartment for a colleague of mine. He said: "This AirBnB is perfect as a refuge from exploring San Francisco. It's tucked on a quiet street, but near some of the more busy parts of the Mission. Mike laid out plenty of snacks and drinks to make the space more comfortable. It's a quick hop to SOMA and the Lower Haight, as well as the 16th St. BART stop. I'd definitely stay here again.
