In the evening, you will take delight in grilling your dinner on the deck while appreciating the wonderful view of the bay. End the day by roasting marshmallows and telling tales around the waterside campfire as the sun sets over the bay.
The Bay of Quinte offers some of the best walleye and bass fishing in Ontario. In addition to the private waterfront, a concrete boat launch and 20 foot dock are available for your use and pleasure.Kat's Cradle is a great meeting spot for "get togethers" with family, friends, girlfriends and fishing buddies, as well as a great romantic getaway. The local roads are ideal for cycling too.
Kat's Cradle is located about 15 minutes east of Picton near the natural wonder of Lake-on-the-Mountain, Glenora Ferry, the Waupoos Winery, County Cidery, Fifth Town Artisan Cheese Co, and Rose Museum. While you're here, be sure to check out the many other attractions of Prince Edward County including the wineries and vineyards, and the famous Sandbanks Provincial Park.
