This building is located toward the center of Waikiki ,but since it's a new building and has better construction here there's not as much noise as most places in Waikiki. The beach is two blocks away but it's a very easy walk. Lots of people walk back and forth from this area. On the way to the beach you'll pass a couple of places to buy snacks and food for the beach or just about anything you need. Also, in the building there's a little mart that has all the essentials.
If you like running there's a couple of great running routes nearby. You can run around the canal which is about 2.5 miles. There's also Diamond Head which is about 4 miles round trip, this running route has hills and really good views. Lastly theres Kapiolani Park and the route is flat and about 1.2 miles round trip.
There's a great beach nearby called Kaimana beach where it's good for swimming for exercise. There's a flag about 1/8th a mile away, you'll see some fish and sear turtles on that swim pretty often.
Chess players usually meet on the beach nearby and play speed games. I've never played but they look serious. I usually go get an ice cream with the kids and walk by them on Sundays.
Foodies- Great restaurants are always entering the market in Waikiki and it's surrounding areas. Dukes is a staple and will most likely always be around, but there plenty of other awesome ones that you can find on Yelp. Yelp will have all the latest and most accurate information on restaurants, if you don't like Yelp then just do a search for restaurants and you'll learn something great.
I strongly recommend you take surf lessons, try canoe surfing which is very easy, and do the sunset sail. These are activities that people that live here still do, very memorable and relaxing activities.
We use smart locks so once you are confirmed then our lock company will send you an email with your code. Look for it right after you book.
Walking is easy around Waikiki. Public transportation is all around. Herts and Enterprise have ride sharing cars parked in the building. $8 an hour. I only recommend renting a car on day you will travel all over the island. You can rent cars in Waikiki too and bring them back same day. Parking in the building is $20 a day.
From airport use Reliable Shuttle or Speedi Shuttle. Lots of Uber/Lyft available too. You can only use uber/lyft to go to the Airport, not get picked up at the Airport.+ More
